Home Port Unveiled as Name of New Building

June 7th was a very special day for Genoa. We celebrated the grand opening of our new 22,000 square foot headquarters in Mount Pearl, NL. This building provides the space needed for our growing team with increased work areas, collaboration rooms and it created the opportunity to incorporate significant IT upgrades.

During the Grand Opening ceremonies, Genoa officially unveiled the name of this new facility – “Home Port”. This is a tie-in to Genoa’s work in the shipbuilding industry and is a nod to Newfoundland and Labrador’s proud seafaring heritage. This facility also serves as the Home Port for Genoa’s visiting employees that work at satellite offices and worksites throughout North America.

Genoa also thanks all those that contributed to the design, development and launch of operations at this new facility. This state-of-the-art building supports Genoa’s growth and with this increased capacity and capabilities, it will allow Genoa to serve its clients and project partners even better.
