Genoa Design International Announces Partnership with Datifex<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, November 29, 2022<\/strong> – Genoa Design International Ltd., one of the shipbuilding industry\u2019s most sought-after 3D modeling, design, and digital ship companies, today announced a partnership with Datifex, a pioneer in immersive 3D web applications and the industrial metaverse. The partnership will see both firms work together to unlock the vast, untapped potential of the digital ship.<\/p>\n

Genoa brings more than 27 years of knowledge and experience in the North American shipbuilding market to the table, including its considerable work on recent coast guard and military vessels in Canada and the United States. This is complemented by Genoa\u2019s investment in its Innovation team and award-winning Academy that develops the next generation of skills for the industry.<\/p>\n

Datifex brings the ability to connect ships, data, and people in real-time to enable collaboration with its Chrome-based FleetVIEW MS platform. Datifex\u2019s track record includes command and control systems for intermodal terminals, naval bases, warships, ports, border crossings, aircraft sensors and more.<\/p>\n

Through this collaboration, Genoa and Datifex will modernize how ships are built, operated, and maintained by using technology to create tailored solutions that transform how people engage with complex information.<\/p>\n

A demo of this innovative work will be shown at Genoa\u2019s booth (1036) at the International Workboat Show<\/a> in New Orleans, LA from November 30 – December 2.<\/p>\n

Partnerships such as this one between Genoa and Datifex are made possible through Canada\u2019s National Shipbuilding Strategy, leading to economic benefits for Canadians as partners work together to rebuild the nation\u2019s shipbuilding industry.<\/p>\n
